There is something special about beach-side cities.

Think Barcelona, Miami, Cape Town. Saline air rises up from the shores, and cocktail culture follows you through the city.

Equally, there is a magic to bay-side cities. San Francisco, Venice, Copenhagen. Here you find networks of bridges criss-crossing overs harbours, and labyrinths of walkways populated by runners, cyclists and tourists.

And then, there are the enchanted riverside cities, like London, Budapest, New York City. Rivers become an implicit part of these cities’ DNA, dividing north from south, east from west – yet uniting the sides in cultures of food, drink, and play.

Singapore is a city blessed with all three. From beach to bays, and bays to river-fronts, this island city embodies waterside living at its finest. It is a powerful place identity that laps at its shores.
